The Manaslu Circuit Trek is located in north-central Nepal, within the Manaslu Conservation Area, close to the Tibetan border. The trek circles Mount Manaslu (8,163 m), the world’s eighth-highest mountain, offering remote Himalayan landscapes and strong Tibetan cultural influence.
The trail follows the dramatic Budhi Gandaki River, passes through traditional Gurung and Nubri villages, and gradually ascends into alpine and glacial terrain. The highlight of the trek is crossing the spectacular Larkya La Pass (5,160 m), which connects the Manaslu region to the Annapurna region. Due to its restricted status, the Manaslu Circuit remains less crowded and more pristine than Everest or Annapurna.
The Manaslu Circuit Trek is a remote and adventurous circuit trek ideal for trekkers seeking authentic culture, dramatic mountain scenery, and fewer crowds. The trek combines deep gorges, suspension bridges, Buddhist monasteries, high mountain passes, and close-up views of Manaslu and surrounding Himalayan peaks.
